Friars’ Lodge

Friars’ is a thriving Lodge with a current membership of ~40 drawn from a broad spectrum of society. The average age of our membership is in the low 60s, ranging upwards from some in their early 30s. It is a Lodge in which many long-term friendships have been forged. We keep each other informed of the ups and downs in our lives and take considerable pleasure in the achievements and progression of members and their families as well as supporting each other in the sad and hard times. We take great pride in being noted for both the high standard with which we conduct our ceremonies and our sense of humour when, on occasion, things do not go quite to plan!

Friars’ sets out to attract one or two new members each year, a number limited only by the nature of our annual ceremony of introduction.
